Hospice Services

Hospice of the Tanana Valley provides practical support to terminally ill patients their families .and loved ones. We offer information about community resources, a lending library and a loan closet. We offer the help of volunteers who provide emotional support, friendship, and help with everyday activities. We also provide individual and group support for people suffering from grief. It’s hope and more… It’s providing solutions for difficult times when hope is in question, it’s being close in a time of fear, it’s a friend with time to share, it’s dignity, it’s humanity, it’s what we do.

About our Logo

Nancy Van Veenen, a local artist designed our logo.
The mitten hands working together suggest a comforting touch and a place to shelter the butterfly. The swallowtail butterfly is approaching the end of her life cycle. She is protected but not restrained.
